I recently saw a post on Linkedin by Marketer Tips that quoted Joe Martin's 2021 post on Twitter/ X that says: - "Marketing is one of the easiest things for anyone to have an opinion on, but one of the most complex to decide when, where, and how to execute."
This post stirred up a few thoughts: entrepreneurs / founders who have worked with a brand strategist, devised a well researched, planned approach to marketing and confidently entrust their brand to a senior person in the field, generally can sit back, relax and let the magic happen.
These founders know that their brand positioning and marketing will create the desired consumer perception to the intended target audience in due course.
The others simply rely on feedback from ‘friends and family’, who have absolutely no idea about the new consumer cohort that you maybe targeting and stay stuck with marketing to their existing dying population of consumers.
Everyone is entitled to have an opinion, but are they all equipped to steer your brands to greater growth? I don’t think so.
Look forward to working with farsighted entrepreneurs with a vision to create meaningful brands that outlast them.
Let us work on increasing brand awareness, improving consumer engagement and higher conversion rates for your business. Schedule a consultation with me to know more about our services.
